Challenge
Yorkshire Lass Gin, a premium craft gin brand, required a packaging solution that balanced aesthetics with functionality. The key challenges included:

Solution
To address these challenges, we designed a bespoke packaging solution that merged protective functionality with a high-end, visually striking presentation.
Structural Design for Protection
We used a reinforced cardboard material to ensure the bottle was securely housed, reducing the risk of breakage. Custom die-cut inserts were designed to hold the bottle and wooden plinth in place while maintaining a clean and premium aesthetic.
Enhancing Product Visibility
A strategically positioned die-cut window was incorporated, offering a clear view of the bottle without compromising the structural integrity of the box. The window was designed to highlight the bottle’s label and branding, ensuring a strong visual connection with consumers.
Showcasing the Wooden Plinth
The packaging was designed to allow the wooden plinth to remain partially visible through the die-cut window, reinforcing the artisanal nature of the product. Inside the box, a cutout was engineered to snugly fit the plinth, preventing unnecessary movement during transit.
Maximising Branding Opportunities
We used high-quality printing techniques, including foil stamping and embossing, to create a luxurious finish that reflected the brand’s premium positioning. The interior of the box was printed with detailed brand messaging and storytelling, engaging the customer as they unbox the product.
Shelf Appeal and Retail Presence
The combination of a unique die-cut window, premium finishes, and bold branding helped Yorkshire Lass Gin stand out in a crowded retail environment. A textured matte finish with gold foil details created an elegant and sophisticated look, drawing consumers’ attention.
